Brooklyn's Sunset Park Lion's Club partnered with the Caribbean American Center of New York for the 2024 Three Kings Day celebration!
Ms. Cynthia Felix, President of the Sunset Park Lions Club welcomed about 500 children to this years event. Over a dozen co-sponors, groups, elected officials, & performers participated in this year's event. Guests in attendance at the beautiful celebration at Our Lady of Perpetual Help had a wonderful time as the Three Kings handed out gifts and took pictures to the delight of the children from as young as 2 months old to 15yrs.
Sponsors provided a delicious array of foods and refreshments including the traditional Rosca de Reyes for everyone. Co-sponsors provided crowns, gifts, warm hats & gloves, and activities like facepainting and an assortment of craft tables. It was truly a delight to see the very small children from the Ballet Guadalupano del Sunset Park Empowerment Center - SPEC perform traditional Mexican dances.
